Loba History

Today

LOBA is the first company to introduce a high solid system to give the wood the same colour as oil modified polyurethanes without the VOC‘s of oil modified polyurethane.
Since 1985

LOBA has stopped using aziridine crosslinkers to improve the wear resistance of the waterborne finishes. Not only because of the hazardous materials inside crosslinker but also because the quality of the LOBA one component finishes are so good.
Since 1995

LOBA introduced its first two component waterborne finish using an isocyanate hardener.
